July 18th. Do you have this date marked? Well, you should, you don’t want to miss this film, and you shouldn’t wait any longer once it is released. All other summer blockbusters before The Dark Knight seem to be just a series of preludes to this cinematic climax, and honestly after The Dark Knight there will be probably nothing to look forward. I don’t know whether these statements are true, but it certainly feels this way. So, at this point in time, roughly two weeks away from the release date, we wonder whether The Dark Knight will live up to the enormous hype it has created, and really how successful it will be in the box offices. I apologize for the recent downtime due to hitting the limit of my monthly bandwidth. I guess in a way it is a blessing. It shows there is a substantial traffic to this blog every month, I just wish that the traffic can bring more quality readers rather than one-time visitors. After this incident, I think I will be contacting my hosting company to figure out a long-term solution, hopefully it will not happen again in the future.

So the stage is set and the showdown will be on Sunday. After today’s triumph of Spain over Russia, the final game of Euro 2008 will be played between Germany and Spain. I did not follow the games of Euro 2008 from the beginning, I started to watch game highlights near the end of the group stage. So far, Euro 2008 has been a thrill, so many surprises and so many amazing comebacks. Many teams’ performance challenged my obsolete understanding about European football. I guess it is a good time to refresh my knowledge about numerous European teams and players before the World Cup of 2010 in South Africa. Now, which team do you think will claim the Euro 2008 Championship? Do you think Spain can pose a threat to Germany even without the leading striker David Villa? Personally, I am leaning towards Spain for the win.
