Initially when this film was in theaters, I had no desire to watch it. After watching the trailer, the main subject of this comedy did not appeal to me. Now, after Tina Fey’s skit in SNL as Sarah Palin, and her tremendous success in doing the imitation, I have enough reason to give this film a try, also I had a bit of expectation. Perhaps, such expectation prior to the viewing can be troublesome. Throughout the movie, there were some funny moments, but they caused just giggles, nothing to the effect that make you drop to the floor and rolling, fearing that if you laugh a bit more your belly would explode. I agree with one of the reviews I read, all the funniest moments are already in the trailer. The plot is very predictable, towards the end you are just waiting for things to play out like you imagined. The acting of the two main actresses, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, is just average. Maybe because I have too many images of Tina Fey as Sarah Palin, sometimes I notice gestures of Tina Fey too Sarah Palin like, and that is not a good thing. Anyway, I am just glad I watched it on DVD.
