Personal Misfortune

Coming back from Los Angeles, from my girlfriend’s parents’ house, I was almost home; changing to the right lane, getting ready to exit the freeway, all of sudden there was something lying in the middle of the lane. The section of the freeway was quite dark, and my car was traveling in high speed, so by the time I saw the object, I wasn’t able to avoid it. So I drove my car over it. From the sound, I could tell that the object got stuck under my car. My car was dragging it, so I pull over immediately. It was one of those thick plastic cover that trucks use to cover up the merchandise from getting wet from rain. Apparently, when my car went over it, the string hooked on something underneath my car. I unhooked the whole thing, walked around the car to examine whether there were other damages, and I saw the front bumper broken and destroyed.
Now, I feel so angry and frustrated. Not only I need to spend extra money, but most importantly I need to spend extra time to deal with this misfortune. I seriously think that I am cursed with bad luck. This is the second time that something like this happened to me. People need to STOP dropping stuff on freeway, it is so dangerous. Who knows how much it’s going to cost this time! Sigh…, who I can blame, except my bad luck!

oh, that’s really bad.
But remember, bad luck and good luck are usually bundled together. So, who knows what kind of good luck is awaiting you.

Hopefully there are some in the near future. Thanks kingler!
I just drove my car in the Toyota Collision Center, and did an estimate today. It comes out to be over 800 dollar, bloody rip-off!
