Don’t Eat Spinach

The E. coli outbreak is the breaking news of today. 94 people in 20 states were poisoned and one individual was killed. According to the warning of FDA, E. coli cannot be removed by simply washing spinach, so please be safe and avoid eating spinach. The latest announcement from FDA stated that the source of E. coli outbreak had been identified to be bagged spinach products distributed by Natural Selection Foods/Earthbound Farm, and the company agreed to recall the product. However, just to be safe, I don’t think you should risk your health by eating spinach from another distributor. For salad lovers, try an alternative until this bacterial outbreak is over. Not too much of an inconvenience for me, since I am a meat lover.
One last thing to point out: the news article on CNN mentioned that the web site of the distributor has placed some information on the front page to inform customers. Naturally I thought the warning text must be big and conspicuous, however this is what I found. Can you find the warning text?
