Step into WordPress v2.1

Matt announced the availability of WordPress 2.1 on Monday, and I immediately upgraded Wooden Fish to WordPress “Ella”. The upgrade procedure is identical as before, and as simple as before. At least in my case, everything went smooth and without a hurdle. However, the changes in this new version broke my Bookmarks page, in which I used wp_get_links() to query links of each of my four link categories, and not showing the dummy link category used for the Subscription page. Apparently, the ID of each link category has changed in version 2.1, so my old function calls no longer worked. Instead, I used the new function call wp_list_bookmarks() to display links in each category, and I set those links in the dummy category to invisible in order to hide the dummy category. After that, my Bookmarks page is back to normal.
