Jailbreak iPod Touch 2.0.2

I have been patient enough to wait for things to settle down, waiting for the right time to upgrade to the latest firmware. With the help of the wonderful QuickPwn, I finally upgraded my iPod touch to 2.0.2 and jailbroke it. For the past couple days I have been exploring the new features and thousands of apps in the AppStore. So far, I am satisfactory and I do not regret about the move.
Before I share with you my experience, let me tell you the tool that I used. I used QuickPwn on Windows for my jailbreak, because at the time QuickPwn was only available on Windows. However, just today a Mac version of QuickPwn was released, but this article details the jailbreak process done on Windows. Now, let’s move on!
Preparation
Two things you need to have ready before doing the jailbreak. One, your iPod touch is already upgraded to 2.0.2; two, you have QuickPwn downloaded on your Windows machine. One problem I encountered was that I was unable to initialize QuickPwn. The problem was caused by the absence of .NET framework, since I rarely use my Windows machine, so it was severely outdated. So, if you have the same problem, just go ahead and install the latest .NET framework on your computer, and then QuickPwn should run just fine.
Jailbreak Process
Instead of repeating the procedure documented by many, I am going to provide the text and video tutorials I used. I picked to follow this one because it documented some extra steps after the jailbreak process. If you don’t like this one, just search in YouTube, you will probably find hundreds of video tutorials.

Sorry, I now have a second generation iPod Touch, which cannot be jailbroken, so I do not keep up with the latest jailbreak. However, if you are using the right version of quickPwn, did you attempt for the second time? Restore your iPod and start over. Also, make sure you follow the instruction closely. I hope my advices help you. Good luck!

It is always a good idea to do a backup before jailbreak. If anything goes haywire, you will definitely lose everything you currently have on your iPod Touch.
