Man on Wire Review

Man on Wire

One of my favorite movie genre is documentary, so when I first watched the trailer of Man on Wire I was instantly hooked to this unheard story of French high-wire walker Philippe Petit. The fact that a person feels compelled to walk on a wire between the World Trade Center is just mind-boggling. It compels you to find out more about this artistic crime of the century. Director James Marsh did an excellent job narrating the event and building it to its climax. He succeeded in making it thrilling, suspenseful and enticing throughout its length. You are always eager to find out what happens next. I like how James Marsh starts this documentary. Right in the beginning, he grips your heart, and make you surrender to the suspense. It is an excellent film and you should not skip this.
