I think this is a serious and intense movie which ventures into dark places in humanity. Ben Affleck did a good job directing this movie.

I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who is looking for a film that could potentially shock the core of one’s existence, this is the movie that would do that, primarily because of the story of Chris.

In the Valley of Elah is an anti-war movie inspired by true events. The message of the film is clear, through the tragedy of Deerfield family the film questions the war, more specifically the devastating and chilling psychological effect the war has brought to the minds of our young soldiers.

Rather than calling it a review, I would prefer suggesting readers to think of this post as a guide to potentially enjoy Rush Hour 3. It is not a movie that you want to pay close attention to the storyline.

Finally, I got to watch Transformers, and the viewing experience is totally incredible. Seeing these robots coming to life, and transform from cars/jet fighter/helicopter into realistic and metallic robots, there is nothing a man can ask for.

First and foremost, the graphics of this animated film is stunning. There are countless beautiful scenes in the film: the panorama of Paris, the kitchen, the spacious yet elegantly decorated office of the food critic Anton Ego, etc.

Underneath the breathtaking film shots, the viewers only find an incoherent plot and a story line without much novelty.

Overall the movie was like an epic visual poetry narrating to the audience an ancient heroic story, and the visuals were so impressive that I finally gave up judging the plot, because I was too busy indulging myself with the cinematography.

The movie sends a positive and inspirational message to the audience. Gardner’s pursuit is definitely something extraordinary and inspiring to rest of us. I liked the movie and I liked the message.

Maybe I expected too much, or maybe the teaser and trailer of Mel Gibson’s newest movie Apocalypto is a bit misleading. Before walking into the theater, I expected to see a story which presents a possible explanation of the sudden banish of the Mayan civilization.
