Be Kind Rewind is funny, creative and aspiring. I am amazed at various creative techniques Jerry and Mike used to swede movies that we are familiar with.

I like movies like this, dealing with serious issues yet inserting just the right amount of humor into tearful or depressing moments.

Personally, I enjoyed the movie, even though the ending is a bit of over-simplified. However, considering the writer/director Neil Burger is a newbie, this is an impressive first effort.

The movie is great to watch, a lot of action, a lot of special effects, plenty of mutant characters and few moments of light-hearted humor. But I do have one complaint, that is the movie is too short, only one hour and forty-four minutes.

I do recommend you to see this movie. I thought it was refreshing and new, a feeling that you rarely get these day after watching any Hollywood movie.

It is really a bad idea to eat a big dinner before going to see Meet The Fockers. I laughed so hard in the movie theater, at the times I seriously thought that my stuffed belly would explode due to continuous laughter. The sequel is entertaining, hilarious and as much fun as the first one.

The Incredibles is humorous and at the same time meaningful. Part of the movie deals with the issue of superheroes trying to blend in with the masses, and how often they were considered freaks.

I would say it is a tragedy beautifully depicted but fails to make a powerful punch on your heart. Nevertheless, I recommend the movie solely because it is too beautiful to miss!

After all, it depends on personal taste, but one thing for sure it does not appeal to everyone. You may be so touched that you shed tears at the end of the movie, others may yawn and complain that the movie drags too long.

Although I knew the history about Claus von Stauffenberg’s attempt to assassinate Adolf Hitler, Valkyrie still managed to make my hands sweat and my heartbeat accelerate.
